A crash involving an overturned vehicle closed several lanes on Interstate 69 Friday afternoon.

INDOT says the crash happened on southbound I-69 approaching the 96th Street exit.  The crash had all lanes closed at one point but the lanes were completely reopened to traffic before 5:00.

Southbound traffic was backed up for several miles on southbound I-69.  Northbound traffic was also affected.  It's not yet known what caused the crash.

Just a few miles south, a crash on eastbound I-465 approaching I-69 had a two lanes blocked.  That crash involved a school bus but no children were injured, according to our news gathering partners at RTV6.  All lanes have been reopened from that crash.
