FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY

11am|Georgia Street – Downtown Indy

Your favorite food trucks will be serving lunch on the Georgia Street Board Walk between Capitol and Illinois Streets every Friday, through Aug. 23rd.  11am to 1:30pm weather permitting.

 

 

ITALIAN STREET FESTIVAL

5pm|Holy Rosary Catholic Church

One of Indy’s very best ethnic festivals!  One of the most attended church festivals too!  Homemade everything!  Cannoli, Pizza, Spaghetti Sauce, meatballs…bread sticks!  Sooo good!   Live entertainment and carnival rides.  5-11pm Friday and Saturday.  FREE admission.

 

 

SUMMER NIGHTS FILM SERIES – SABRINA

7pm|Newfields

Bring a blanket, pack a picnic and get set to watch a classic film under the stars!  Smoking Goose will have hot dogs and snacks.  Sun King will offer cold beverages.  Film starts around 9:30pm.

 

PAWTUCKET RED SOX vs. INDIANAPOLIS INDIANS

7:15pm|Victory Field

Stick around after the final out to enjoy spectacular fireworks right after the game!  Gates open at 5:30.  Tickets start at just $9.

 

 

KROGER SYMPHONY ON THE PRAIRIE:  THE MUSIC OF QUEEN

8pm|Conner Prairie

Performed by the ISO and amplified with a full rock band and vocals, plus conductor/arranger Brent Havens and his ensemble.   Promises to capture Queen’s distinct sound!  $32 adults.  $13 kids 12 & under.

 

 

 

SATURDAY, June 15th

 

13th ANNUAL “HEROES FOR THE HOUSE” FUNDRAISER

8:30am|NCAA Hall of Champions

Raising money for the Ronald McDonald House with a 5K run/walk, “Mommy Stroll”, Dog Jog and a Rookie Run.  Pizza and snacks afterward.  $35 day of the event.

 

 

“MARKET ON THE PENNSY” FARMERS MARKET

10am|Pennsy Trail in Irvington

Bonna Ave. between Ritter and Audubon.  All outdoor market showcasing local, vintage and handmade vendors, plus farmers market.  Kids area and food trucks too!  Goes until 4pm.

 

 

“TREASURES OF ANCIENT GREECE”

10am|The Children’s Museum

OPENING DAY!  Explore the history and mythology of the ancient Greeks.  More than 150 ancient objects including inventions, sculptures, jewelry, artifacts and more!  The Exhibit requires an additional ticket. 

 

TALBOT STREET ART FAIR

10am|Herron Morton Neighbor

Said to be one of the best art fairs in the country!  Over 200 juried local and national artists.  Covering 6 blocks.  Food & drink available.  Admission is FREE!  Sunday 10-5pm.

 

 

“MONSOON MADNESS”

11am|Holland Park – Fishers

A Luau-themed “pop-up” waterpark!  Giant water slides, fun games and live entertainment.  One of the park’s most popular events of the summer and it’s FREE!  Goes until 3pm.

 

 

INDEPENDENT MUSIC & ART FESTIVAL

Noon|Harrison Center For The Arts

Celebrating local musicians and artists, performing original music and creating original artwork in conjunction with the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange.  Over 100 vendors.  Goes until 8pm.

Pride Night” as the Tornado Sirens and Warning Belles return to the track for a roller derby doubleheader.  Wheels of Wonder is located at the Southern Plaza Shopping Center.

 

 

CHICAGO SKY vs. INDIANA FEVER

7pm|Bankers Life Fieldhouse

KIDS EAT FREE EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT!  The first 1,000 fans 14 and under receive a hot dog, chips & drink plus get the chance to shoot a free throw after the game.
