The Songbook Foundation’s Traveling Exhibition makes a stop at the Indiana History Center.  The program uses text and imagery from classic films, musicals, posters and personal collections to tell the stories of incredible lyricists and composers.

NEWFIELDS WINTER NIGHTS FILM SERIES – “FUNNY FACE

Winter Nights returns to The Toby for its 9th season, this year exploring the themes of the exhibition Sensual/Sexual/Social: The Photography of George Platt Lynes.  Tonight’s feature is the 1957 Classic Film “FUNNY FACE”, starring Audrey Hepburn.    $12.

“Laughter and Loss”.  A one-of-a-kind Off-Broadway hit.  Every Brilliant Thing is a one man dramedy that contains adult language and themes, including references to suicide.  Tickets start at $25.

7:30pm|The Studio Theatre - The Center for Performing Arts in Carmel

The Actors Theatre of Indiana bring us this outrageous musical hit, based on “The Bad Seed”.  Gets rave reviews during its long off-Broadway run.  Goes through Feb. 17th.   Tickets start at $20.

 

 

“THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK”

7:30pm|Indiana Repertory Theatre – OneAmerica Mainstage

By Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, “The Diary of Anne Frank” is a historical drama that contains some adult themes including coming of age during the Holocaust.  2 hours and 45 minutes.  Goes through Feb. 24th.   Tickets start at $25.

“RISE:  A SATURDAY STATE OF MIND” WELLNESS CLASS

Awaken your senses and rest your mind!  This is a 6-week drop-in wellness class, featuring an early morning dance and movement class, yoga and guided meditation.  9-11am.  $20.

NAPTOWN ROLLERS BASIC ROLLER DERBY WORKSHOP

12:30pm|Indiana State Fairgrounds

The foundational workshop is for new skaters who want to learn basic roller derby skills, plus get an incredible workout!  It’s a low-pressure environment…No experience is necessary.  $10.

YMCA’S 6th ANNUAL “REVOLUTION BALL”

7pm|Crown Plaza Union Station

A huge fundraiser for the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis with special guest Olympic Swimming Champion Mark Spitz.  Black Tie Optional, but tennis shoes are required.  Prizes awarded for the coolest shoes!  Food stations and music from Toy Factory.    $125-$175.

5pm|K1 Speed in Fishers

Raising money to benefit One Cure which provides funds for cancer research for people and pets!  Pro Drivers will be paired with other participants.  A fantastic silent auction and more!  $100 admission.
