INAUGURAL “xZOOberance” SPRING FESTIVAL

9am|Indianapolis Zoo

Music, art, dance and nature!  A perfect place to celebrate spring with outdoor musical instruments, animals, and crafts for the kids.  For adults?  The Cheer Garden is where you’ll find craft beer and wine!

 

 

BUTTERFLY KALEIDOSCOPE

9am|White River Gardens

Each year the Zoo transforms the indoor garden into a warm tropical paradise so you can experience butterflies in a way you’ve never seen them before.  See more than 40 species in the Hilbert Conservatory.

 

POP-UP TEA HOUSE

11am|Newfields

A celebration of tea, with an emphasis on the teas of Japan.  “Tea” is their first attempt at incorporating art and nature into one guest experience.  Thu-Sun during museum hours.  Included with admission.

 

 

THE EITELJORG MUSEUM’S 30th ANNIVERSARY PARTY

3:30pm|Eiteljorg Museum

Help the Eiteljorg kick off a year-long celebration beginning with the opening of 2 exhibits: A Sense of Beauty and Brining Friends Together.  Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a new activity highlighting 30 objects that will help you explore the Museum.  $60.

 

 

“GILLIGAN’S ISLAND: THE MUSICAL”

8pm|Belfry Theatre in Noblesville

You know the story, now see it in musical form!  It’s fun, it’s wacky and entertaining with 18 original songs.  RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED!  The show goes through April 7th.  $16-$20.

NICKELODEON’S “PAW PATROL: ADVENTURE PLAY”

10am|Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

The hero pups of Adventure Bay will be here through July 28th.  Join Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rubble and the others as you overcome challenges and help friends.

 

 

“STAR TREK: EXPLORING NEW WORLDS”

10am|Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

Discover Star Trek all over again!  The exhibit that looks at the impact of Star Trek on culture, society, art, technology and fashion.  Over 100 artifacts, rare costumes, and props.  Goes through Apr. 7th.  Closed Mondays.

 

18th ANNUAL CIRCUS DAY

10am|Indiana History Center

A fun celebration of Indiana’s circus heritage.  Carnival games, face painting, balloon sculptures, crafts and of course snacks!  Juggler “Krembo K” and Silly Safaris will be there too.  Free!  Goes until 5pm.

“HOPS & HOOPS”

18 local breweries bringing their best craft beers for you to sample before the Pacers vs. Magic game. Participate in the pre-game beer tasting and you’ll receive a limited-edition Pacers Souvenir Tasting glass and a ticket to the game.  Tickets start at $75.

 

 

NAPTOWN ROLLER DERBY – HOME BOUT 2

The “TORNADO SIRENS” and “WARNING BELLES” return to the track!  Have you been to see the ladies yet?  It’s fun for the whole family.  Doors open at 5pm.  $12 presale.  $17 at the door.

An 80’s rock musical featuring music of Sting, Styx, Bon Jovi, Queen, Fozzy and The Doobie Brothers.  Should be a fantastic show!
