Each year the Zoo transforms the indoor garden into a warm tropical paradise so you can experience butterflies in a way you’ve never seen them before.  See more than 40 species in the Hilbert Conservatory.

 

 

ECO SCIENCE FAIR

10am|Indiana State Museum

Visit the Fair or submit a project!  Students are invited to propose solutions to global climate issues.  Recycling, social awareness, urban farming, aquaculture and more.  FREE for K-12 pre-registrants.

 

 

BEN CRAWFORD:  BROADWAY & BEYOND

11am & 8pm|Hilbert Circle Theatre

He’s a two-time “Yuletide Celebration” host because Indy loves Ben Crawford!   He’ll join the ISO for an afternoon of his favorite music and then return for an 8pm show.

 

 

ICAN’s BEACH BINGO 2019

5:30pm|Knights of Columbus

Play BINGO with and for the dogs!  Indiana Canine Assistance Network invites you to their 2nd annual BINGO fundraiser with dinner and drinks, 10 games of BINGO, raffles, prizes and more!  $50.  Activities begin at 6:30.

Grammy Award winning saxophonist and Tony Award nominee Branford Marsalis is one of the most revered performers of his time.  He’s also the leader of one of the finest jazz quartets today.

 

“THE GOLDEN GIRLS: THE LOST EPISODES”

10pm|District Theatre

An original parody of the beloved television show.  The ladies find themselves in situations never-before seen on TV.  Apr. 19-20, and 26-27 at 8 and 10pm.  $15.

PRESIDENTIAL EGG ROLL 2019

9am|Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site

The only “egg roll” in town!  Crafts, music photos with the Easter Bunny.  Kids race to roll their wooden eggs through the grass.   Rain, snow or sunshine!   FREE for children & parents.  Click HERE to register.

 

 

EASTER “BEGG” HUNT

10am|Broad Ripple Park

Hosted by “Three Dog Bakery”.   Bring your best 4-legged friend to sniff out treat filled Easter treats, including coupons for more free, fresh baked goodies.  $5 – benefits ARPO – Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership. 

 

 

POP-UP TEA HOUSE

11am|Newfields

A celebration of tea, with an emphasis on the teas of Japan.  “Tea” is their first attempt at incorporating art and nature into one guest experience.  Thu-Sun during museum hours.  Included with admission.

 

 

EASTER “EGG-STRAVAGANZA”

1pm|American Legion Mall

The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 2pm. Four different age groups up to 14.  FREE hot dogs, chips, drinks, train rides and more!  Check out IMPD’s police & SWAT vehicles.

 

NAPTOWN ROLLER DERBY

6pm|Wheels of Wonder

The Warning Belles and Third Alarm take the track at Wheels of Wonder in the Southern Plaza Shopping Center on Indy’s south side.  A roller derby doubleheader!

Opening weekend continues with “FIRST RESPONDERS NIGHT”.   The first 1,500 kids 14 and under will get a “Fire Chief Hat”.  Tickets start at $9.

 

 

ADULT MOONLIGHT EGG HUNT

7:30pm|Kuntz Soccer & Sports Complex

The kids get so many egg hunts…this one is for 21 and over only!  Chocolates or tickets for prizes will be hidden in eggs all over the field.  You’ll need to bring a flashlight!  Food and drinks available for purchase.  $15.  Space is limited.  Register HERE.

The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook” teams up with the Carmel Symphony Orchestra.  Saluting classic musicals with unforgettable songs made famous by Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire and other legendary performers.  Tickets start at $35.

INDIANA BRIDAL & WEDDING EXPO

Noon|Indiana State Fairgrounds

Featuring a huge selection of professionals to help brides find dresses, honeymoon destinations, photographers, caterers and more. Bridal Fashion Shows, Live DJ’s, Bands and Dance Demos.  $10.

 

 

INDIANAPOLIS CORGI LIMBO & COSTUME CONTEST

1pm|Michael A. Carroll Stadium

It’s the first ever!  Proceeds benefit Give Hope, and the Fight Poverty Chapter at IUPUI.   No outside dogs please.  $10.  $15 VIP admission (includes meet & greet with corgis)   $14 for corgi + 2 handlers.
