24th ANNUAL INDY IRISH FEST

4:30pm|Military Park

Good food and drink, Irish Market, “Wee Folk” area, live music, demonstrations and lots of stuff to buy!  Celtic Mass on Sunday.  SAT – 11:30am -11pm.  SUN – 10:30am – 5pm.  $5-$15. Under 5 free.

 

 

MONUMENT CIRCLE OKTOBERFEST

5pm|Monument Circle

Featuring German & American foods, beers & wine.  Presented by the Columbia Club.  Indy’s beloved “PolkaBoy” will take the Monument Stage from 7-11pm.  FREE admission.

 

“DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS”

7:30pm|Studio Theater at the Center for Performing Arts – Carmel

Performed by the Actors Theatre of Indiana.  Based on the classic 1988 film.  A musical comedy nominated for 11 Tony Awards.  Goes through Sept. 29th. 

 

 

JONAS BROTHERS LIVE!

7:30pm|Bankers Life Fieldhouse

The Happiness Begins” tour featuring special guests Bebe Rexha and Jordan McGraw.  This is the Jonas Brothers first North American Headline Tour in nearly a decade. 

 

 

COMEDY WITH JEN KOBER

8pm|Schrott Center for the Arts

She brings crowds to their feet with her original blend of stand-up, story-telling, and improvised rock-n-roll comedy.

38th ANNUAL FIESTA INDIANAPOLIS FESTIVAL

Noon|Georgia Street

The premier Latino cultural celebration.  Over 15,000 Hoosiers join the celebration every year enjoying a day of music, dancing, food and health & wellness fair.  FREE admission.

 

FLY-IN FOR DIABETES

Noon|Rike Field in Greenwood

High performance and scale RC models, flying demos, drones, and a “candy drop”.  Proceeds benefit the American Diabetes Association.  Goes until 5pm.  FREE admission.

 

 

2nd ANNUAL BBQ & BLUES FEST

1pm|Fort Harrison State Park/

Music from John Ford, Queen Delphine & The Crown Jewels, plus King Bee & The Stingers.  Food from The Garrison, Wild Boar BBQ and Taste of Home Catering.  FREE after $7 gate admission.

 

 

2019 INDY JAZZ FEST

2pm|IUPUI Campus

The 10-day festival continues with performances at various locations.  Today is a celebration of Indy’s “up and coming” Jazz Performers starting with the Indiana All State Jazz Combo.  FREE!

Sample great food and drinks by professional and home chefs! Tailgate games, and axe throwing! All proceeds benefit the Arc of Indiana.  $50-$350.

A classic American 1950’s courtroom drama.  Recommended for patrons 9th grade and above.  Goes through the 29th.

 

 

INDIANAPOLIS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA “OPENING NIGHT GALA”

5:30pm|Hilbert Circle Theatre

ISO Opening Night Gala welcomes child prodigy, Alma Deutscher.  Just 14 yrs. old, Alma composed her first piano sonata at age 6!   Tickets start at $35.  Students - $10.

Noon|The Benton House in Irvington

Featuring 9 historical homes and landmarks, showcasing the history and architectural diversity of the Irvington Community.  The 10th Classy Car Show also begins at noon.  $15.
