FRIDAY – August 4th
8am|Indiana State Fairgrounds
Opening Day! This year’s theme, “The Wonderful World of Food”! 17 days of fun, food, and farm animals! New this year…The Subaru Skyride, where you’ll get a view of the State Fair from 35 feet in the air…above Main Street, between the Swine Barn and the Midway. Opening night features “The Balloon Glow”. Click HERE to win tickets!
A 3 course meal including cocktails, wine and beer. The meal uses only Public Greens “Microfarm” produce! You’ll also have the opportunity to tour the farm and all proceeds benefit The Patachou Foundation.
6:30pm|North Side Knights of Columbus
Raising money for the kids and adults of Damar Services. Wear your favorite team jersey…eat some of your favorite stadium foods and play some “BINGO” for a great cause. $40 includes dinner, beer & wine, bingo cards and dauber. Games start promptly at 7:30pm.
8pm|Conner Prairie Amphitheater
Friday & Saturday, Mike Love and the Beach Boys take the stage for a very special evening of classic hit singles that everybody loves!
Check out one of my favorite comedies…the 2000 film, ”BEST IN SHOW” under The Sails at the Eiteljorg! FREE Admission! Rated PG-13…bring the family, the picnic basket and get there early because there’s a limited number of chairs available. Otherwise…bring your own.
SATURDAY – AUGUST 5th (Music For All Band Day at the Indiana State Fair)
Donate $5…sing your favorite song, and the money goes to Riley Hospital for Children. 9a to 9p on the steps of Monument Circle.

FREE Health Screenings, including BMI, Diabetes, Oral Screenings and more. Plus FREE Sports Physicals for anyone ages 10-21. Great prizes throughout the day.
Riley kid, Kacee Marshall is now a Kent State junior, studying fashion. She also lives with a spinal defect. She’s put together a kids fashion show to benefit Pediatric Rehab at Riley Children’s Hospital. All of the models are Riley Patients, ages 6-17. It’s FREE, but donations are welcome!
1pm|Mass Avenue Cultural Area
400+ cyclers, 5,000+ cycling fans…It’s a fantastic event! Racing until 9pm, in one of the coolest areas in downtown Indy.
15 of Indy’s Best Chef’s compete in a “burger” competition that they take very serious, because the winner goes on to the World Burger Battle! There’s also the “People’s Choice” award which is why you need to sample all $15 burgers! Live entertainment. $30-$35 admission. Proceeds benefit Building Tomorrow.
4pm|Warren Central High School
Colts City opens at 4pm, but team warm up isn’t until 5:30 with practice from 6 to 8pm. FREE! City Barbeque will be on site too!

Featuring Aaron Tippin, Ray Scott, and Scotty Randolph. Bring your lawn chairs…Food trucks will be on site if you’re hungry! 1,000 American Flags will be passed out from 97.1 Hank FM. Concert begins at 2:30. Proceeds benefit the Indiana Chapter of the National MS Society.
Noon|Bona Thompson Memorial Center
It’s more than just ice cream! Downey Avenue will be closed between University and Ohmer for an Irvington Block Party! Music, food, a vintage market and the opportunity to win prizes!
