BANDS OF AMERICA SUPER REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

7:30am|Lucas Oil Stadium

Franklin Central HS Marching Band kicks off the day with 86 competing high schools.  Music For All’s regional championships go through Saturday.  $23-$61.

 

 

“HOTEL OF SPELLS” HAUNTED HOUSE

10am|Indianapolis Children’s Museum

This is the Children’s Museum Guild’s 56th annual haunted house!  Two haunted options…”Lights-on” for those who scare easily and “Frightening” hours for those who are ready to be scared!  Goes through Oct. 31st.    Requires additional ticket.

 

 

38th ANNUAL HALLOWEEN ZOOBOO

2pm|Indianapolis Zoo

Activities run Thursday through Sunday.  Be sure to check out “Pumpkin Town”, “Broomstick Alley”, the “Round-Go-Merry” and the Spooktacular Train Ride!  Included with Zoo Admission.

 

HALLOWEEN EXTRAVAGANZA

6pm|Hendrick’s Regional Health YMCA

Costumes welcome!  Enjoy an evening of s’mores, scary stations, games, haunted hayrides and crafts!  Goes until 8pm.  $5-$8. Under 3 free.

 

 

HEADLESS HORSEMAN FESTIVAL

6pm|Conner Prairie

An October tradition!  Lots of activities during the festival, but the star of the show is the Headless Horseman that chases you down while you’re on the haunted hayride!  Oct. 25-27.

 

 

NOT-SO SILENT HALLOWEEN

6:30pm|Indiana Landmarks Center

Sammy Terry will be your emcee for a night of spooky music played on the historic organ, and scary movies, including silent shorts and a not-so-silent horror feature, “Bride of the Monster”!  $15-$18.

 

 

ZOMBIE BIKE RIDE

Put on your best living dead wear and join the Historic Irvington Halloween Festival and Indy Cycle Specialists for a community night ride you’ll never forget!  FREE

 

 

“ALABAMA STORY”

The true story of an Indiana native who becomes the State Librarian in Alabama.  When a controversial children’s book crosses her desk, her life instantly changes.  Goes through Nov. 17th.

Live performance of William Shakespeare’s “HAMLET”.   This is one of 26 Shakespeare performances through Oct. 27.  Show times and locations vary.

2nd ANNUAL INDIANA PACERS 5K

9am|Bankers Life Fieldhouse

Run or walk!  You’ll receive a free shirt, medal and one Balcony Level Ticket to the Pacers vs Cavaliers game on Nov. 11th.   $50.  $55 Race Day.
