10am|Indiana History Center

Get into the holiday spirit with 92 gorgeous trees, packed into their grand building.  You can vote for your favorites and be sure to check out the 30-foot tribute to nature in Indiana.  Through Jan. 1st.

Noon|The Center for the Performing Arts

CHRISTMAS NIGHTS OF LIGHTS

6pm|Indiana State Fairgrounds

Over 1 million beautiful lights synchronized to music that’s played through your car stereo.  Dusk to 10pm daily.  Extended hours on weekends.  $7 (under 4 free).  $30 per car.

 

 

“HOME 5 THE HOLIDAYS: THE UN5GETTABLE HOLIDAY SHOW”

7:30pm|The District Theatre

They’re funny and very entertaining.  Un5gettable is partnering with St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital to bring you a new concert of classic Christmas favorites and some original holiday tunes too!  $10+

 

 

MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER CHRISTMAS

7:30pm|Clowes Memorial Hall

Their 1st Christmas album came out in 1984.  35 years later they’re still going strong!  The show will feature hits from the 1stMannheim Steamroller Christmas.   $59-$79.

BATMAN vs THE JOKER NIGHT” on the ice!  It’s also Sun King Craft Beer Night, so stop by and sample a wide variety of specialty brews from Sun King and other local breweries.

ANNUAL AVON ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR

9am|Washington Township Park Pavilion – Avon

Handmade arts, crafts and food!  This is a big one!  FREE admission.  Goes until 3pm.

 

 

INAUGURAL HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR

9am|Franklin Central High School

Featuring handmade items from artisans from all over central Indiana.  $3 admission with Proceeds benefiting Franklin Central Bands.  Goes until 4pm.

 

 

JINGLE RAILS: THE GREAT WESTERN ADVENTURE

10am|Eiteljorg Museum

OPENING DAY!  A holiday tradition like no other!  The museum’s annual holiday model train display. New this year, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Alamo!  Included with museum admission.

 

The 12th ANNUAL AUTUMN ART FAIR

10am|Garfield Park

Two days of original artworks to purchase, along with FREE entertainment and kids’ activities. Over 40 local artists.  Prices from $.50 to $500.    SUN: 11-4pm.

Your favorites are back!  The 47-foot Yule Slide, Jingles the Holly Bear and Santa!  Ice Skate in your socks, Explore the Ice Castle and go “Ice Fishing” in the pretend pond.

OPENING NIGHT!  A spectacular holiday light show, with 1.5 million lights.  There will be plenty of other special activities throughout the holiday season. Closes at 9pm each night.

 

 

51st ANNUAL CHRISTMAS AT THE ZOO

5pm|Indianapolis Zoo

OPENING NIGHT!  This year, they’ve added even more lights, with FREE visits with Santa through Dec. 23rd.  See Santa’s sleigh and a few of his reindeer.  The Penguin Encounter will stay open until 8pm.
