Fall is a great time to visit the Zoo, and this year they’ve added 4 additional days to include Thursdays for the first time! ZooBoo festivities are from 2p to 7p and an all new Halloween experience inside “Pumpkin Town”. Included with Zoo admission and goes through the 29th.

Day 2 of the 11 day film festival, which will honor Hollywood legends Rob Reiner and Alan Ladd, Jr. with Lifetime Achievement Awards. Heartland will host 16 premiere titles and more than 150 filmmakers and members of the international film industry. Check the website for dates, events and venues.

It’s back! A Halloween tradition for families in Central Indiana…The Haunted Hayride, the 7 acre corn maze and live performances of the “Legend of Sleepy Hollow”! Oct. 12-15, 12-22, 26-29.
Our sister station, HANK FM has put together a fantastic night of live performance that include Christine Nicole, Backroad 30, Keller & Cole, Virtue, Chris Wilson, Scotty Randolph and Standout Story. $10 cover, and proceeds benefit Hurricane Harvey Relief. 21+ only!

The Day includes an opportunity to remember those that lost their lives to colon cancer, and honor those that have survived. Awards given to Most Creative Team, Largest Team, and Top Individual and Top Team Fundraisers. Tech shirts for all participants and post run refreshments.
10am|Indianapolis Motor Speedway
QUALIFYING today, RACING on Sunday! The best pilots in the world compete by navigating a unique course inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway famed oval! Today at 12:30, watch for an acrobatic helicopter and stunt paragliders!
10am|Indianapolis Children’s Museum
The Witches keep the “Lights On” for kids who scare easily! $8 at the door. For other “Lights On” Hours, check the website.
10:30am|Celebration Plaza at White River State Park
Open to all children and adults with Down Syndrome, their families, friends and supporters. Fundraising incentive prizes for those participating!

Interested in aerial photography? Marc Lebryk will lead a Master Photography workshop on how to take photos of racing airplanes! Be prepared to stay until 5:30pm. Lunch is included and loaner Sigma Lenses from Roberts. $99 includes admission.
Circles of Love & Christy’s Auction are hosting a Hog Roast in honor of Lt. Aaron Allan with proceeds benefiting the Trooper Bartram Memorial Foundation, honoring Lt. Allan. Lunch includes pulled pork, burgers and hotdogs, plus sides. $10. $15 Entry Fee if you'd like to enter your car in the Car Show, from Noon to 2pm.
Celebrate German American day with a party at the Athenaeum, “for” the Athenaeum! You’ll love the wiener dog races! But you’ll stay for the Strong Man Competition, Live entertainment, German food from the Indianapolis Sangerchor. And…yes, lots of German beer! Indy Urban Flea will be there with 100 vendors! Proceeds benefit the maintenance and care of the Historic Athenaeum.

Rescue Groups will bring over 1,000 dogs and cats, ready for adoption, Saturday and Sunday. $30 adoption fee and that includes microchipping. Be ready to take home your new family member the same day. $5 parking, but Admission is FREE! Goes until 6pm both days.
7:30pm|Crown Hill Cemetery
Arrive early (gates open at 6:30pm) to get your spot and bring a blanket or law chairs to get comfy. You can also pack a cooler and picnic basket, but food trucks will be on site. Then, sit back and listen to Indiana’s best storytellers, from Storytelling Arts, share stories of the dead and undead! $10-$55. Under 12 free. Use the 34th and Boulevard Place entrance.
