64 of the best High School Marching Bands from all over the country will compete in one of the nation’s most prominent championships. Preliminaries start today with the Finals on Saturday at 7:30pm.

You’re invited to dress in any purple attire, enjoy fantastic food…complimentary wine and Sun King Beer. Live entertainment and games included! This is a huge fundraiser for Coburn Place so they can continue their mission offering support services and resources to men, women and kids affected by domestic violence.
Set in the Theatre District of downtown Indianapolis…one of the most interesting areas of the city! You’ll learn about James Whitcomb Riley, Cockroach Row, the murder of Dr. Helene Knabe, Old St. Joe, and their hauntings. $15-$18. Ages 9+ only! Reservations required!

The winner of Broadway.com’s “Audience Choice Award” for Best Musical. Finding Neverland tells the story behind one of the world’s most beloved characters, Peter Pan. Presented by Broadway in Indianapolis. The show goes through Sunday.

9am| Jack’s Donuts – Fishers
This is a bicycle focused event benefiting the Youth Mentoring Initiative, leaving from Jack’s Donuts at 13576 E. 131st St., with 3 courses that take riders to donut shops in Fortville, Pendleton, and back to Fishers. The rides are 15, 30 and 56 miles. Each participate receives one free donut at each location.
Nearly 40 vendors and artisans, including home décor, pottery, fine art, American Doll clothing and more! Lunch and a cash bar are available. The Indiana Blood Mobile will be on site to accept blood donations, but you need to register ahead of the event. www.donorpoint.org, sponsor name St. Vincent DePaul. Admission: Non Perishable food item, or personal hygiene products.

Opening Day of this fantastic national traveling exhibition on loan from the American Museum of Natural History in New York. The exhibit tells the story of poison’s role in nature, through interactive, hands on discovery.

The Indianapolis City Market and Indiana Landmarks offer guided descents into the catacombs, a long hidden ruin beneath Whistler Plaza. Learn the history, which includes it’s use as a storage facility during the flood of 1913. Tours depart at 11am, 11:30, Noon, 12:30 and 1pm from the west plaza.

A spooky afternoon benefitting the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Bring your dogs dressed up in their best costumes! Prizes, music, food and of course wine! Leashed dogs welcome but you’ll need to bring proof of shots. $5 per dog.
