INDIANAPOLIS HOME SHOW

11am|Indiana State Fairgrounds

10 days of speakers, celebrities, and feature gardens.  The Unilock Beer Garden is located in the South Pavilion.  Check out the Centerpiece Home, The Tiny House Village, contests, demonstrations and more!  Click HERE to save $2 on tickets.  Goes thru Sunday!

 

DEVOUR INDY WINTERFEST

5pm|Indy Restaurants

3-course, value priced meals at over 200 participating restaurants located throughout the Indianapolis area.  Click HERE to plan your “Winterfest” weekend, which includes participating hotels.  Ask your server for the “Devour Indy” menu.  “Winterfest” goes through Feb. 4th.

 

 

HEARTHSIDE SUPPERS

6pm|Conner Prairie

It’s one of Conner Prairie’s most popular events, because YOU help prepare, then enjoy a delicious supper by candlelight.  Afterward, participate in 19th century parlor games, followed by dessert.  Ages 10+.   Saturday and Sunday reservations also available.   $55-$65.

 

 

ROMEO & JULIET – Opening Night!

7pm|IRT

Opening night for the show and immediately following, join the cast in the lobby for appetizers and a celebratory champagne toast.  Afterwards, head to the stage to explore the set and connect with the artisans who bring the set to life.  Romeo & Juliet goes through March 4th.

10am|Indianapolis Children’s Museum

It’s the Year of the Dog!  Discover why this traditional Chinese holiday is important by participating in activities and watching performances from the Indianapolis Chinese Community Center.  You can even have your name written in traditional Chinese calligraphy! 

 

 

CHOCOLATE SLIDE!  Opening Day!

10am|Indianapolis Children’s Museum

Looks like a river of chocolate in the Sunburst Atrium and it’s fantastic!  And looks delicious!  Ger ready for the Children’s Museum’s “Wonka inspired Wonderland”!  Decorated like a twirly-swirly candy land.   The Chocolate Slide will last until April 29th.

 

SOUPER BOWLS 2018

11am|Second Helpings

Do you love soup?  Then this is the event for you!  Top, local chefs compete to see who prepares the best soup and YOU decide the winner! Handmade, ceramic bowls from ArtMix are available and all proceeds benefit Second Helpings’ food rescue, culinary job training and hunger relief.   This year, pints of your favorite soup are also available.  $10 Admission.

 

 

4th ANNUAL INDY BACON FEST

11am|Pan Am Plaza

Bacon inspired dishes from local restaurants, plus beer, bourbon and more!  VIP tickets get you in ahead of the crowd.  This event is for 21 and older.  $25 - $55.

 

 

GESHER LOCK-IN:  PACERS v. MAGIC

5:30pm|Arthur M. Glick JCC

It’s overnight fun at the JCC, which includes a field trip!  Kids can enjoy a Kosher dinner, snack and a trip to see the Pacers take on the Orlando Magic.  Then back to the JCC for a sleep over!  Be sure to pack toiletries and pj’s!  Breakfast will be served Sunday morning.  $60-$78.

 

 

5th ANNUAL YMCA REVOLUTION BALL

7pm|Union Station Grand Hall

Sneakers required, black tie optional!   Bring your “inner child” and be prepared to go “Glamping”!   You really won’t be roughing it, but you WILL experience a glamorous version of the unforgettable camp experiences you had as a kid.  Lots of delicious food stations, cocktails and live music by Toy Factory.  Prizes for best shoes too!  $125.

CHILI COOK-OFF & DESSERT AUCTION 2018

4:30pm|Holy Cross Lutheran Church

Raising money to support their community.  You can help by eating over 30 chili recipes and bidding on over 50 desserts!  Contests and a play area for the kids.  Goes until 7:30pm.
