HENDRICKS COUNTY 4-H FAIR

8am|Hendricks County Fairgrounds – Noblesville

Firefighter Hero Show starts at Noon.  Swifty Swine Racing Pigs all day.  Carnival opens at 5pm.  Bingo at 7pm.  7:30 – Rodeo.   The Fair goes through Saturday.

 

INDIANA BLACK EXPO SUMMER CELEBRATION:  CORPORATE LUNCHEON

11am|Indiana Convention Center

One of the largest corporate luncheons in the state.  Bringing together leaders and honoring those who have proved exceptional efforts on behalf of our state.  Honoring Dujuan McCoy and Teddy Riley.  $60.

 

 

10th ANNUAL LEMONADE STAND FUNDRAISER

11am|Christ Church Cathedral

Hoping to raise $25,000 for back-to-school shoes and more for “Coburn Kids”!  That would buy 200 pairs of shoes, 100 packs of socks & 100 packs of underwear.  Other locations: Charles Schwab Offices, and Coburn Place.  Goes until 2pm.

 

 

30th ANNUAL ICE CREAM SOCIAL ON THE CIRCLE

11am|Monument Circle

All proceeds benefit SECOND HELPINGS, featuring Edy’s Ice Cream Sundaes!  $3 donation for “the works”, served up by local celebrity scoopers.  Goes until 2pm.

 

 

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY

11am|Georgia Street – Downtown Indy

Your favorite food trucks will be serving lunch on the Georgia Street Board Walk between Capitol and Illinois Streets every Friday, through Aug. 23rd.  11am to 1:30pm weather permitting.

 

 

ZOOLAPALOOZA:  MIXTAPE

5:30pm|Indianapolis Zoo

Spend Friday evenings at the Zoo under the Bicentennial Pavilion, with live music, food and full bar! Tonight’s entertainment, “MIXTAPE”.   Featured Menu:  Street Tacos. Included with Zoo admission.

 

 

INDIANA BLACK EXPO SUMMER CELEBRATION: MUSIC HERITAGE FESTIVAL I

Featuring performances by GUY, CON FUNK SHUN, and ANGELA WINBUSH.  FREE Admission.

 

 

HAMILTON COUNTY 4-H FAIR

7pm|Hamilton Co. Fairgrounds – Noblesville

The evening kicks off with the Hamilton County 4-H Fair Queen Pageant.  Stay for the rides, food, animals and more!   No admission charge!  FREE parking.   Goes through the 22nd

KIDS EAT FREE EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT!  The first 1,000 fans 14 and under receive a hot dog, chips & drink plus get the chance to shoot a free throw after the game.

KRISTIN HENSLEY & JEN SMEDLEY have been writing comedy across country for a combined 32 years.  They’ve been moms 1/4th of that time and laugh about all the craziness that comes with that title.

Indy’s near eastside is home to a variety of antique stores, each offering something for your home, garden and DIY projects.  Each store will offer food & beverage pairings, and discounts!

Created by Amsterdam-based STUDIO DRIFT.  18 mechanical blossoms that open and close as you walk by.  The exhibit is open until Feb. 2020.  Included with price of admission.
