Enter the “Hall of Justice” and perfect your Super hero pose next to Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman. Visit the City Docks and ride a wave with Aquaman. Visit Gotham City and help Batman restore the Bat-Signal. Lots of really cool hands on activities – thru Sept. 3rd.

Swing Into Summer every Friday at this year’s Zoolapalooza Summer Concert Series! Performers vary each week and a Special menu and Beer Samplings will be offered. Included with Zoo Admission.

Bring your car, truck, classic hot rod or motorcycle because all vehicles are welcome! No restrictions or registration is necessary. Music, and food! FREE! 6-8pm.

A fundraiser for the Lintner Foundation. Tacos from the best restaurants in the city! Participate in the “Taco Eating Contest”! Your ticket includes food and margarita tickets to be used at any of the food or drink vendors. FRIDAY & SATURDAY. $25 - $35.
7pm|Bankers Life Fieldhouse
Kids EAT FREE every FRIDAY & SATURDAY! The first 1,000 fans 14 and under, will receive a free hot dog, chips, drink and a chance to shoot a free throw after the game! Tickets start at $13.
The Greater Greenwood Community Band invites you to the “Opening Act” of the Greenwood Freedom Festival! Bring your lawn chairs and get ready to hear your favorite patriotic music. A full choir joins the band for the second half of the show. FREE admission and refreshments will provided.
One of Central Indiana’s favorite Independence Day celebrations! Featuring symphony favorites, including Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture with real canons and fantastic fireworks! 4 dates – June 29-30 & July 3-4. Be prepared for long lines of traffic. Gates open at 4:30pm.
SATURDAY, June 30th
8am|Nickel Plate Amphitheatre
The day kicks off with the Farmer’s Market and 5K Run/Walk. Opening Ceremonies begin at 11am, and afterward check out the Street Fair! Stick around for the Parade at 7pm, followed by a spectacular fireworks show.

8am|Kingsway Christian Church
FREE admission! Local restaurants compete for the title of “Best Ribs In the County”. Live entertainment, 5k Run, Balloon Glow, and amazing fireworks at dusk! Goes until 11pm.
8am & 1pm|Indianapolis Art Center
Hosted by the Sunrise Sertoma Club. Take a 3 mile trip to Rocky Ripple or on to Lake Indy for a scenic 7 mile trip. FREE, but donations for local children’s charities are welcomed. Transportation provided back to the Arts Center and the Sertoma Club will provide life jackets and paddles.
FREE admission to ALL Indy Parks and Pools with dozens of special events, concerts, contests and giveaways. Pools will be open from noon -5pm, and will host “birthday parties” celebrating the history of each facility. Click HERE for locations and events.

Do you think you can eat an 18” Hoagie pretty quick? Maybe you should enter this year’s contest! $20 to participate with $10 going to the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Fund. You’ll get a t-shirt and an 18” Italian Hoagie for the contest. Winner gets one Free 18” hoagie each month for a year!
Indy’s largest food festival event! Start your Independence Day celebration a little early with Mom & Pop restaurants coming together to feed the masses! So good! Local bands will entertain you throughout the day and night. Drinks and libations to keep you cool! $8. 6 & under FREE.

The Festival kicks off at noon with a parade! Then check out over 200 booths…food and beverages! Live bands from around Johnson County. Buy a VIP ticket and enjoy an incredible dinner in a private tent with restrooms. And then watch the fireworks from an elevated view. $40 adults/$10 children.

SUNDAY, July 1st
Today is the last day to see young pianists from all over the world, compete in a 5 day competition. $15-$20. Competition goes until 5pm.
