INDY SHORTS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

10am|Newfields

Expected to be the largest of its kind in the Midwest, with 152 films shown through July 28th.   Featuring films less than 40 minutes in length.  Comedy, drama, animation and documentaries.   Click HERE for dates and times.  $12.

 

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY

11am|Georgia Street – Downtown Indy

Your favorite food trucks will be serving lunch on the Georgia Street Board Walk between Capitol and Illinois Streets every Friday, through Aug. 23rd.  11am to 1:30pm weather permitting.

 

 

COLTS TRAINING CAMP

1pm|Grand Park – Westfield

ST. CHRISTOPHER MID-SUMMER PARISH FESTIVAL

4pm|St. Christopher Catholic Church – Speedway

Billed as “the festival that tops in food”!   Carnival rides, gaming and back by popular demand “Endless Summer” performs at 7pm.   St. Chris Festival goes through the 27th.

 

 

ZOOLAPALOOZA:  PROTOCOL

5:30pm|Indianapolis Zoo

Spend Friday evenings at the Zoo under the Bicentennial Pavilion, with live music, food and full bar! Tonight’s entertainment, “Protocol”.   Featured Menu:  Street Tacos. Included with Zoo admission.

 

 

“A CHORUS LINE”

7pm|Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre

A celebration of chorus dancers and the American Musical itself.  Fantastic music.  Tickets start at $28 and goes through Sunday.

KROGER SYMPHONY ON THE PRAIRIE:  YACHT ROCK REVUE

8pm|Conner Prairie 

Two nights under the stars celebrating the best of 70’s light rock!  Yacht Rock Revue’s spot-on renditions of Hall & Oats, Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, and the rest of the Time-Life Infomercial Catalog have captured the hearts of America.  $32. 

 

 

MOVIES IN THE PARK:  CAPTAIN MARVEL

9pm|Garfield Park

The Indy Parks Summer Concert Series offers a film screening of “Captain Marvel”!  Bring your lawn chairs and picnic in the park before the film starts at McAllister Amphitheatre.   Gates open at 7pm.

 

 

 

SATURDAY, July 27th

 

HELPING HEROES FREEDOM RIDE & MUSIC FESTIVAL

10am|Marion County Fairgrounds

Motorcycle ride, food trucks, vendors, and stunt show.  10 bands performing throughout the event.  Proceeds go to support soldiers and veterans.  $10.  Goes until 7pm.

 

 

FIRST RESPONDERS APPRECIATION DAY – CONNER PRAIRIE
10am|Conner Prairie

Conner Prairie is honoring those who protect and serve our community by offering free day time admission to FIRE, POLICE & SAFETY personnel, plus 50% off for family members.  ID Required.
