INDY BREWERY COLLECTIBLES SHOW

8am|Wyndham Indianapolis West Hotel

All are welcome!  Open to the public to buy, sell and trade antique Breweriana:  beer cans, bottles, signs, and other collectibles – pre-prohibition to today.  Room to Room Trading today.  Saturday will be a huge Trade Show day.  Click HERE to secure a table.   $5 General Admission.

 

 

2018 SPIRIT & PLACE FESTIVAL OPENING NIGHT

6pm|Harrison Center

Kick off the 10 day festival with an evening of fun and celebrating this year’s theme, “Intersection”.   The Festival continues with 32 unique events, across 27 venues and features a variety of presenters, speaker and performers.  Click HERE for the complete schedule.

 

 

“FOLLOW THE NORTH STAR” REENACTMENT

6:30pm|Conner Prairie

Not suitable for children. (Under 16 Only with an Adult)  Participants travel back to 1836 and assume the role of a runaway slave on the Underground Railroad.  Be prepared, you’ll be walking on rough terrain in all types of weather.  Program starts every 15 minutes.  Nov. 3rd, 8-10, 15-17.

 

 

HANNA HAUNTED ACRES – Last Weekend!

7pm|Hanna Haunted Acres 

If you’re still not ready to give up the scariness of Halloween, Hanna Haunted Acres is open through Saturday night.  Six haunted attractions open until midnight.  Saturday, 7-midnight.

 

 

“THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW”

9:30pm|Indianapolis Athenaeum Basile Theatre

NUVO’S 2015 and 2017 “Best of Indy’s #1 Pick” for Best Locally Produced Play!  This is the last weekend for the show.  $20-$25.

 

 

 

 

SATURDAY, Nov. 03rd

 

CNO FINANCIAL INDIANAPOLIS “MONUMENTAL MARATHON”

8am|Indiana State Capitol

One of the Top 20 Marathons in the country!  The FULL Marathon is sold out, but spots still open for the half marathon, 5K and Kids Fun Run.  The Course highlights landmarks, and historic neighborhoods.  $25-$130.

 

 

POWER RECYCLING DAY

8am|Indanapolis Zoo

An easy way to get rid of your waste in an eco-friendly way.  Most electronics will be accepted FREE.  That includes cell phones, tablets, video game systems and computers.  $10 for TV’s and monitors.  NO large appliances please.  Goes until 2pm.

 

36th ANNUAL CENTER GROVE CRAFT FAIR

8:30am|Center Grove High School 

Over 250 exhibitors featuring handmade gifts, arts and crafts.  Breakfast and lunch available for purchase.  Goes until 4pm.  $2 admission.

 

 

ARTSY PARTSY” CRAFT BAZAAR

9am|Franklin Township Annex Building

More than 40 vendors from central Indiana.  Not too early to shop for one of a kind items for the holidays!  Funds raised will help support Edgewood Preschool programs.  Goes until 3pm.  FREE admission.

5pm|Indiana Repertory Theatre

Presented by the Indianapolis Foundation and CICF.  Written by Dominque Morisseau, one of America’s most sough- after playwrights.  A story about a family trying to figure out a broken system, and the mom who fights for her son’s future.  Goes through Nov. 11th. Tickets start at $25.

STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN – “SOLO GREATEST HITS”

The Paducah Kentucky Native is a Hoosier favorite.  If you don’t know who he is, Steven Curtis Chapman is a contemporary Christian music songwriter, and performer.  Tickets start at $26.

 

 

KELLIE PICKLER in CONCERT

8pm|The Palladium in Carmel

Start with a “Pre-Performance Country Star Dinner” 75 minutes prior to the show.  A multicourse buffet in the Palladium’s Robert Adam Room. $40.  Kellie Pickler begins at 8pm.  Tickets start at $35.

 

 

HAUNTED BRIDGE TOUR & INVESTIGATION

8pm|Washington Park in Avon

“Unseenpress” will share tales of Avon’s local hauntings.  After the tour, join the investigation of the Whipple and other Haunted bridges using paranormal detecting equipment.  $5 for the tour between 8 and 9pm.  $20 to participate in the investigation from 9-10pm.

 

 

 

 

SUNDAY, Nov. 04th

 

RED ZONE GAMES

7:30am|Lucas Oil Stadium

More than 2,000 7-12 year olds will play football and participate in the “Greatest Day Ever”!  Cheerleaders will participate too!  There’s still time to register.  $19-$29, plus fees.
