The Bird is the Word

BlueIndy Cars need to take a step back because there's a new vehicle (if you consider this a vehicle) in town - Bird scooters. 

You may have spotted the electric scooters here and there around downtown Indianapolis, and they're meant to be shared throughout the city for only $1 to start.

According to their website, they "work closely with cities to help make transportation better & more environmentally friendly". (However, the city may dispute how closely Bird is working with them) If you happen to walk around downtown it's clear that they are a huge hit with Hoosiers.

In fact, our very own Tony Katz got his hands on one and went for a joy rid around the office as seen in the video below.
