Chris Pratt Receives Backlash For 'Don't Tread On Me' Shirt

The Marvel star wore a shirt that some people call a symbol for white supremacy

Chris Pratt is facing some backlash after being photographed wearing a shirt that has the "Don't Tread On Me" flag on it.

Pratt was seen out in L.A. with his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, earlier this week donning the navy t-shirt with the Amerian flag and rattlesnake. The "Don't Tread On Me" flag is a mash-up of Old Glory and the Gadsen flag.

Although the flag doesn't have any racial history, over the years many political groups and 2A supporters have adopted the flag as their own. Therefore, some believe it is a symbol of far right individuals and supports white supremacy. 

Yahoo News first broke this story with the headline: 'Chris Pratt criticised for 'white supremacist' T-shirt', but later changed it to 'Chris Pratt criticised for T-shirt choice.' White supremacism also were removed from the article.
