INDIANAPOLIS — This weekend is quickly becoming one of the most violent in recent memory.

Indianapolis Metro Police report seven people shot in just 24 hours in the Circle City. The earliest happened around 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon. IMPD found a man shot and killed near 38th Street and Keystone Avenue.

Two other shootings in the area are believed to be connected. A man was found shot inside a car near 30th Street just south of I-465.

Then around 9 o’clock Saturday night, another person was found shot Dixon Road near 46th Street and Arlington Avenue. That person is in stable condition. The shooting continued into Sunday as police responded to a shooting at a gas station on West Morris Street and Holt Road just after midnight. That victim was last listed as awake and breathing.

A few blocks away, a person was shot at a house just off of Holt Road.

Around 1:30 Sunday morning, an 18-year-old woman was shot near Hanna Avenue. She died at the hospital just hours later.

IMPD have not announced any arrests in any of the shootings.
