INDIANAPOLIS–Three people were shot and one person was killed in two separate shootings Friday night in Indianapolis.
Even though they were unrelated shootings, police say they happened within minutes of each other.
IMPD says two people were shot on Harlan Street around 9:10. That is south of Southeastern Avenue between South Keystone and South State avenues. One person was killed and another person was seriously injured in that shooting, police said.
At almost the same time of that shooting, officers responded to a shooting on N. Temple Avenue, near E. 38th Street and N. Keystone Avenue on the northeast side. IMPD says the victim of that shooting is seriously hurt, but alive.
Police are searching for suspects.
