A majority of registered American voters have a favorable opinion of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
52 percent of respondents to a Rasmussen poll said they have a favorable impression of the Florida governor. 37 percent said they have a “very” favorable view.
76 percent of Republicans have a favorable impression of DeSantis, compared to 53 percent of Democrats who have an unfavorable impression.
Independents were split. 46 percent said they have a favorable impression of DeSantis while 32 percent have an unfavorable view.
The poll was conducted from April 10-11, 2022.
Kendall & Casey noted that the poll suggests that corporate media attempts to frame DeSantis’ policies as “far-right fringe” are faltering.
