More Suspects Being Sought Out In The Shooting Of David Ortiz

Three more suspects were arrested late Thursday in the Dominican Republic.

SANTO DOMINGO -- The manhunt continues for suspects involved in the shooting of former Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz.

Three more suspects were arrested late Thursday in the shooting this past Sunday in the Dominican Republic.

Ortiz was shot in the back at a bar in his hometown of Santo Domingo. Authorities say ten men were involved in the attack, including 31-year-old Luis Alfredo Rivas-Clase, who's also wanted for an attempted homicide in Pennsylvania.

Police in the Dominican Republic say the suspects arrested last night will be charged with attempted murder. Police say six other suspects were stalking Ortiz in an effort to collect a bounty of nearly eight-thousand dollars.

Authorities have not said who ordered the hit on Ortiz or why he was targeted.
