INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana’s attorney general is doubling down on his insistence that parents, and not schools, make the decisions for kids.

AG Todd Rokita on Monday issued the Parents’ Bill of Rights 2.0, which includes a section on vaccines and the coronavirus vaccine.

Rokita says there are no statewide requirements that kids get the coronavirus shot, and said parents have an absolute right to make healthcare decisions for their children.

He said in his preamble that schools should play a “supporting role,” and that parents should “lead in raising and educating our children.”

Rokita issued a similar Parents Rights document back in the summer that focused on “social and emotional learning” in Indiana schools.
