HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. — The company behind the iPhone will be building a new home in Indiana.
Apple has announced plans to bring a new distribution center to the town of Clayton. It’s a $100-million investment in the Hoosier state, which is also a small part of the company’s new five-year plan.
That plan is to invest $430-billion in new facilities across the country, which Apple says will create around 20,000 new jobs.
Apple says the distribution center in Clayton will bring 500 new jobs to Indiana by the end of 2024. XPO Logistics has already started the hiring process.
