WESTFIELD, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts signed quarterback Brett Hundley and defensive tackle Joey Ivie to the team.

The Colts add Hundley to the roster a day after the team announced starting quarterback Carson Wentz is out “indefinitely” with a foot injury.

Hundley has played for the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers, and has played 18 career games. During his career, Hundley has started just nine games, and has thrown for 1,902 yards, nine touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.

In 2020, he spent the entire season on the Cardinals’ active roster but did not play.

Other quarterbacks on the roster include Jacob Eason, in his second year with the Colts, and Sam Ehlinger, a rookie from the University of Texas the team drafted this year.

Ivie has played for the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys.
