Columbus Man Arrested for Fatal Stabbing
COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police arrested a man Tuesday for a fatal stabbing.
Daniel J. Denny, 19, of Columbus, faces a preliminary charge of murder.
Columbus police were called to the Quail Run Apartments shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday to investigate a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a man who had multiple stab wounds. The man was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.
During the course of their investigation, police identified Denny as a suspect. Denny was arrested and taken to the Bartholomew County Jail, where he remained Tuesday evening.
