SEYMOUR, Ind.–Eight men were arrested in a human trafficking sting in Jackson County.
Police called it “Operation March Sadness.” The investigation went from March 9-11. Police say they used fake profiles to pose as young women to communicate with people using sex trafficking and prostitution websites.
The arrested suspects range in age from 19-60.
Six of them are charged with attempting to have sex with a girl under age 16. Investigators say the other two are suspected sex traffickers.
