EL PASO, Texas — A former Colts wide receiver is in jail in Texas.

Quan Bray is facing federal drug trafficking charges. He was one of the two others caught with Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Greg Robinson in a rental car stopped at a border patrol checkpoint in El Paso.

“A subsequent inspection of the vehicle by agents revealed the presence of approximately 157 pounds of marijuana inside several large duffle bags in the rear cargo area,” said federal prosecutors in court documents.

They were hauling the drugs from Los Angeles to Louisiana.

“When the trio reached El Paso, Robinson instructed Bray to begin driving,” the documents added. “According to the complaint, when they approached secondary inspection at the Sierra Blanca checkpoint, Robinson asked the third individual to claim the marijuana and that Robinson said he would pay the third individual to do so.  The third individual refused.”

The third person in the car is not being charged because they told investigators they were an Uber driver and that Bray and Robinson rented their car was told to dirver the two to Louisiana from LA. They did not know it was pot in the duffle bags until they reached the checkpoint.

Bray and Robinson each face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Bray played for the Colts from 2015 to 2017.
