TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — A former Indiana High School basketball all-star was arrested in Terre Haute over the weekend.

Jake Odum is a former Indiana State University stand-out. He was asked to leave the Copper Bar in downtown Terre Haute due to “inappropriate conduct towards female patrons”, says a police report.

When Odum refused to leave the bar, staff asked off-duty police officers working security to kick him out. Police say Odum then stood outside the bar for an hour afterwards drunkenly taunting other people inside.

Witnesses and court documents say that Odum refused several offers for a ride home, including one from the bar tender.

He was arrested for criminal trespassing and public intoxication.

Odum was an Indiana All-Star from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 2010. He went on to be a four-year starter from 2010 to 2014 for the Indiana State Sycamores, leading them to one NCAA Tournament appearance in 2011.
