GREENE COUNTY, Ind. — An historic covered bridge in Bloomfield is closed due to a fire investigation.
The investigation at the Plummer Creek Covered Bridge, also known as the A.M. Kennedy & Sons Covered Bridge, began after a fire on Sunday.
The bridge is currently closed to the public and travelers are asked to seek alternate routes until it is determined the bridge is structurally capable of handling traffic.
Indiana State Police and the Indiana State Fire Marshals are investigating.
