Hamilton County Offering Free Sandbags

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. —  It’ll be a rainy weekend across Indiana, and Hamilton County is no exception. To help you get through it, Hamilton County’s emergency management is handing out free sandbags.

The bags are available to those who want to protect their property from flood waters.

The best part is that they’re free, and there’s no limit to how many you can take.

A flash flood watch has been issued for the area through the weekend, so the agency wants to allow for people to prepare themselves.

The bags became available at 8 a.m. this morning, and can be picked up at 1717 Pleasant Street in Noblesville.
