INDIANAPOLIS — Volunteers from the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County are exchanging their stethoscopes and thermometers for hammers and nails.
About 150 people from the Marion County Public Health Dept., Eskenazi Health, and Indianapolis EMS will work alongside a team from Habitat for Humanity on Tuesday. Their goal is to complete one section of a home that’s under construction.
When completed, the house will be located on 19th Street, just two miles away from Eskenazi Hospital.
