INDIANAPOLIS — It was a long night for Indy Metro Police, which began just after midnight in downtown Indianapolis.

IMPD were called to East Market Street on a report of a person shot. Police arrived and found much more than a victim.

Police say a car drove by a group of people standing in a parking lot and someone inside the car started shooting. A local club DJ tried to dodge the bullets by getting into his car and driving away, but he instead crashed into a wall and nearby car.

One person was found shot, and police say that person is in critical condition.

Then around 1:30 Sunday morning, two people with gunshot wounds walked into Methodist Hospital. Officers believe those two could have been shot at East Market Street. They’re in stable condition.

Finally, around 2 Sunday morning, police were called to Meridian Street on a report of a person shot. That person is in serious condition.

No word on any suspects or motives in the shootings. The identities of the victims has not been released. If you know anything about the shootings, contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers.
