Indy Man Arrested for Murder, Attempted Murder

INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police have arrested a man for murder and attempted murder.

Police believe 41-year-old James Griffie shot and killed Vernon Williams at a home on Forest Manor Avenue on Sunday, Oct. 4.

Investigators also believe Griffie shot Jessica Galle on Oct. 4 at a home on Sherman Drive.

Griffie is charged with murder, attempted murder, and battery by means of a deadly weapon.
