INDIANAPOLIS – The IRS is holding two events on Saturday to help people register for the new child tax credits.
The events are taking place in Indianapolis on Saturday, July 24.
The first session is at the John H. Boner Neighborhood Center (2236 E 10th St.) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The second session is at the Minton-Capehart Federal Office Building (575 N Pennsylvania St.) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
To help the process go smoothly, make sure you bring with you the following items:
- Social Security numbers for your children,
- Social Security numbers or Tax Identification Numbers for yourself and your spouse,
- a reliable mailing address,
- an email address, and
- your bank account information if you want to receive your payments by direct deposit.
