STATEWIDE — We’re on the brink of another coronavirus milestone in Indiana.

On Sunday, the Indiana Department of Health reported 754 new cases of coronavirus across the state. That brings the total number of Hoosiers who’ve tested positive for the virus to 735,462.

The department also reported 9 new deaths, which brings the total number of Hoosiers that have died due to COVID-19 to 13,063.

So far, over 3.4-million people in Indiana have been tested for coronavirus. The state’s current overall positivity rate is at 8.7-percent, while the seven day positivity rate sits at 5-percent.

Vaccinations continue to rise in Indiana. Sunday’s report from the department of health also stated that 17,225 more Hoosiers have become fully vaccinated. That brings the total number of fully vaccinated Hoosiers inches away from a new milestone, as the total is now at 2.299-million.
