JACKSON COUNTY, Ind.–A man from South Carolina was arrested for drunk driving in southern Indiana Friday afternoon.

State police pulled over a man who they say was driving erratically on I-65 southbound just north of Seymour in a 2016 Freightliner. They observed 62-year-old Mikhail Popov of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina showing signs of being intoxicated. Popov submitted to a breath test and had a blood alcohol content of .225%, police say. The legal limit is .08.

Popov was taken to the Jackson County Jail on several charges, one of which was operating with a BAC of .15% or greater.

He is expected to have an initial court appearance soon.
