Man Arrested for Bringing Gun to Carmel Clay School Board Meeting
CARMEL, Ind. — A Carmel man faces charges after a handgun fell from his pocket during a Monday night Carmel Clay School Board meeting.
The man has been identified as 69-year-old Robert Lesher, of Carmel.
Lesher was escorted from the meeting, questioned by Carmel Police, and arrested. He faces one charge of Possession of a Firearm on School Property, a felony.
Carmel Police do not believe Lesher posed a threat to anyone attending the school board meeting or otherwise.
