INDIANAPOLIS–A man found just after midnight Friday on a street on the southwest side of Indianapolis may have been both run over and shot.

Police got a call that someone was down and when they got to the intersection of Kellum Dr. and Mills Rd., south of the Indianapolis International Airport, they found the man “suffering from trauma”. It appeared he had been hit by a car. But, police later determined he had also been shot.

He was alive when police got there, but later died.

They did not release the man’s name or any identifying information, other than saying he was an adult male.
