Man Wanted in Indiana Since 2003 Arrested in Georgia
WILCOX COUNTY, Ga. — A man wanted in Spencer County for the attempted murder of a police officer has been arrested in Georgia.
On Thursday, members of the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about domestic violence, reports FOX 5 in Atlanta.
Officers arrested Ignacio Castanon, who faces charges of battery and cruelty to children.
Police learned that Castanaon was wanted in Spencer County on multiple charges stemming from an incident in Nov. 2003, including attempted murder of a police officer, aggravated battery, resisting law enforcement, and domestic battery.
