Former CNN Anchor Don Lemon Arrested by Federal Agents

WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. — A woman was arrested for driving while impaired Friday night in southern Indiana, while her young children were in the car with her.

Indiana State Police believe Justa Shinn was impaired after finding marijuana gummies and two bags of pot in her car.

The crash happened on I-64 just east of Lynnville. Troopers arrived to the scene and found Shinn’s 2008 Subaru Impreza upside down, Shinn and her two kids still inside.

Firefighters were able to get the two kids out, but Shinn was trapped inside but also eventually removed.

Trooper said Shinn was heading west on the interstate and somehow left the roadway, hit a tree, and flipped upside down.

All three were taken to the hospital to be checked out. It was during that time troopers found the drugs in Shinn’s car. They also smelled pot and alcohol inside the car.

Soon after, Shinn was arrested and taken to the Warrick County Jail and the children were placed in the custody of DCS.

Shinn is charged with OWI and possession of marijuana.
