MUNCIE, Ind. —  A Muncie woman is accused of beating her mother and causing the woman’s broken leg.
Lindsey Jones, 39, was arrested Thursday for aggravated battery.
Jones’ 66-year-old mother told police that Jones entered her apartment early that morning and used drawers from a dresser to beat her with, according to The Star Press newspaper. Police found a drawer with blood on it inside the apartment.
The woman had injuries including a black eye, swelling on her face and head, and a broken leg.
Jones reportedly admitted to “punching her mother”, according to The Star Press.
Jones was being held Friday in the Delaware County Jail under a $20,000 bond.
