MUNSTER, Ind. — A man dressed in a hazmat suit held up a Munster bank on Tuesday.

According to police, the man walked into the Fifth Third Bank at 8007 Calumet Ave. at around 3:20 p.m.

The man was described as black and slender and had on the white suit, goggles, a blue hard hat, and a mask that covered his face, according to The Times of Northwest Indiana.

The man gave a bank teller a note and demanded cash. He inferred that he had a weapon but it was not established if he actually had one, said police.
