LEBANON, Ind. — A gas station worker was taken to the hospital with burns after an early morning fire at a Lebanon gas station.

The fire began at around 2 a.m. Wednesday at a BP station on Indianapolis Avenue, according to WISH-TV’s Kevin Ratermann.

Firefighters had the fire put out in about ten minutes.

Initial investigation indicates the fire may have started near the propane tank cage.

The Lebanon Fire Department says the gas station will remain closed due to damage. It will be also inspected by the Boone County Health Department.
