INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a crash Tuesday morning on the west side of Indianapolis.
One car was driving on Rockville Road, just west of I-465 near High School Road, when it left the road, crashed into a couple of trees, and landed on its side.
“The accident occurred just sometime before 9 o’clock,” Courtney Rice, Public Information Officer for the Wayne Township Fire Department, said. “It appeared to have been largely unnoticed by anyone in the area.”
Rice says a truck driver eventually noticed the car and called 911.
The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene. She has not been identified.
Police are still investigating the crash.
