Pence Rallies For President Trump In Fort Wayne; Praises Gov. Holcomb

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Vice-President Mike Pence returned to Indiana on Thursday as he continued to campaign for President Trump.

He spoke in an airplane hanger at the Fort Wayne International Airport. He praised President Trump’s accomplishments of building up the military and improving the economy. Pence also said Trump is the most pro-life president in American history.

“We’re going to make Indiana, and America stronger than ever before,” Pence said. “We’re going to make Indiana and America more prosperous than you could possibly imagine. We’re going to make Indiana and America more united than ever before.”

Pence gave some love to his former Lt. Governor, Eric Holcomb, who is running for re-election as governor of Indiana.

“When I got the call to join the national ticket it wasn’t long before that he got the call to join my ticket,” Pence said. “He has simply gone on to be one of the best governors in America!”

Indiana Republican Congressman Jim Banks and House Republican Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana also spoke before Pence took the stage.

After his address in Fort Wayne, he flew to Indianapolis where he cast his early election ballot. Pence made a campaign stop in Waterford, Michigan earlier in the day. There he praised Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett. Senate Democrats boycotted her nomination vote on Thursday.
