HAMMOND, Ind.–He’s being referred to by Indiana State Police as a “triple-digit speeder” and he was arrested Saturday night on the Indiana Toll Road.

When a red BMW drove by a state trooper who had a radar gun out, that car was clocked going 105 mph in a 55 mph zone on I-80/94.

Police say they caught up to the driver and pulled him over. They have identified him as Nermin Pavlica, 29, of Wyoming, Michigan.

Officers say Pavlica agreed to a breathalyzer test and field sobriety tests. His blood alcohol content was .11%. The legal limit is .08.

Pavlica was taken to the Lake County Jail. Police say they also found narcotics in his car.

He’s been charged with the following:

  • Operating while intoxicated-Class A misdemeanor
  • Possession of a controlled substance-Level 6 felony
