INDIANAPOLIS — The next phase of Indianapolis’ Bottleworks District remodeling begins with a new business opportunity for Hoosiers.

The Garage Food Hall will open it’s doors Tuesday, featuring around 20 different locally owned and operated businesses. A bakery, brewery, coffee shop, and fish market are just a few of the options available to Hoosiers in the city’s Bottleworks District.

Amy Isbell-Williams, the general manager of the Bottleworks Hotel tells WISH-TV that even with the pandemic still in full effect, she believes business owners shouldn’t back down.

“Better to open it now, and really rise to the occasion,” she tells WISH-TV.

For food hall vendor George Munoz, the opening represents an opportunity to keep moving forward through the pandemic. “For right now, you just have to keep your ahead above water, so you’re ready to go and move quick,” he tells WISH-TV.

The Garage Food Hall opening is part of a multi-year plan to remodel the district, which began in December with the remodeling of the Bottleworks Hotel.
