MADISON CO., Ind. — The former Fire Chief for the Summitville Fire Department is facing child seduction and solicitation charges.
Indiana State Police investigators say James Randall Sizelove, 56, engaged in sexual misconduct with a minor under the age of 16.
Sizelove first met the victim, now 23, while working as a bus driver for the Madison Grant School Corporation in 2010. The victim accused Sizelove of multiple sexual crimes, beginning in 2013 when she was only 15 years old. Sizelove was her bus driver at the time.
In addition to serving as the Fire Chief for the Summitville Fire Department, Sizelove was also a reserve for Summitville Police. He had positions in both departments when the sexual misconduct took place.
Sizelove was relieved of his police duties after a search warrant was served at his home. During the search, several devices were found with porn depicting the underage victim. Sizelove was arrested after turning himself into the Madison County Jail Friday morning.
The charges he faces are:
– Criminal Deviate Conduct – Using or Threatening to Use Force or Violence
– Sexual Misconduct with a Minor
– Child Solicitation
– Child Seduction
– Possession of Child Pornography
