NOBLESVILLE, Ind.--The show started and then the show stopped. The Chicks, formerly known as the Dixie Chicks, cut it short at their show at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in Noblesville Sunday evening.
Lead singer Natalie Maines told the crowd they had to stop because her allergies were too bad for her to keep singing. The group had performed at Bonaroo the night before.
Maines also said in a Facebook post that the group intends to book another show, presumably when she’s over her allergy attack, to make up for the truncated performance.
“We are so sorry we could not give you the show you deserve OR the show we wanted to give you. We will be back in Indianapolis!! Hold on to your tickets. Ticket holders will be contacted by the official point of purchase with further information. We love you Indianapolis.”
No makeup date has been announced.
